Meet Dr. Banu Bala, a dedicated dental professional originally from Malaysia but made the move to Australia in 2018. Graduating with a dental degree from Indonesia in 2012, Dr. Bala further honed her skills through extensive training at the Royal Dental Hospital Melbourne, culminating in the successful completion of the Australian Dental Council Examination in 2018.

With a commitment to a holistic approach to dentistry, Dr. Bala not only addresses dental issues but also endeavors to identify their root causes, preventing their recurrence. Her belief in patient education and care is unwavering, reflecting the philosophy encapsulated in the quote, “The greatest medicine of all is teaching people how not to need it.”

Currently pursuing a Masters in Prosthodontics (Crowns and Bridges) at Griffith University, Dr. Bala’s enthusiasm spans various facets of dentistry. However, her true passion lies in full-mouth makeovers and smile design. She continuously hones her skills through numerous courses in Aesthetic Dentistry and Dental Sleep Medicine, aiming for perfection in her craft.

A proud member of the Australian Dental Association, Australia Sleep Association, and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, Dr. Bala remains at the forefront of her field. Beyond her professional commitments, she is a devoted mother of two, balancing her busy schedule with family life. Every Sunday, you’ll find her at the beach with her daughter, actively engaged in Nippers, while her family dedicates their time to volunteering at the Broadbeach SLSC.
