What happens in your 60 minutes

One hour. Zero rush.

Your first visit is booked for a full hour, so there’s time to do it properly and time for your questions. Here’s how we use it.

Get to know you
We start with a conversation about your dental and medical history and anything that’s bothering you. We’ll also ask about your lifestyle, such as your diet, habits and routine, because these all affect your oral health. Then we do a full check of your teeth, gums and mouth.

A closer look
We take an OPG, a panoramic X-ray of your whole mouth, so we can see your teeth, jaw and the areas the eye can’t reach. We add any other X-rays you need and high-definition photos, then check your gum health and screen for signs of oral cancer.

Jaw, bite and smile

Why does my first visit take an hour?

Because we do it properly the first time. In 60 minutes we can examine, X-ray, photograph, screen, clean and then sit down with you to explain what we found and what (if anything) needs doing. You’ll have time to ask questions, and you’ll leave with a clear plan.
