The History of Yeronga Park Dental

Our Story

1949: Built and Established

Yeronga Park Dental was built and established in 1949 as a weekend dental practice and home for Dr Len Soden

1992: PURCHASED

Yeronga Park Dental changed hands only twice before Dr Christine Furness purchased in 1992.

2013: CHANGING HANDS

Dr Furness sadly medically retired in 2012, completing her near 35 year long career in dentistry and having nurtured the practice for 20 years. Following Dr Furness’ retirement, Yeronga Park Dental was fortunate enough to be placed in the hands of Dr Nicole Yuen, who continues to uphold the family values that Dr Furness introduced to the practice many years ago.

2016: A REFRESHED DENTAL SURGERY

Renovations were completed in 2016 to be able to accommodate for our new patients at Yeronga Park Dental. From a 1 chair surgery to now a potential 4 chair practice to be able to expand our services to the ever growing community of Yeronga, Yeerongpilly, Graceville, Moorooka, Annerley, Fairfield, Rocklea and Brisbane.

Best service from a dentist I’ve had in years the girls fixed my teeth up nicely. non judgemental positive environment also really went through with me and showed me the damage I had done and the next and best steps to keep my smile bright and beautiful and healthy.   Dr Yuen is a lifesaver. I had been getting migraines and to think it came from my tooth. She provided emergency treatment and scheduled me back to ensure that it did not happen again.
She and her team provide holistic care for myself and my family.
My toddler was booked in and they were amazing! He was not scared at all and had so much fun in the dentist chair!

  Dr Nicole is amazing. She is very gentle and spends the time to explain things throughly so I can understand everything that is going on during my appointment. She is calm and makes me feel at ease for being at the dentist. The practice staff are so lovely which makes such a difference to have such friendly receptionists and dental assistants. Overall a really great experience :-)
